BUFFALO WEATHER EXPERIENCE CENTER TO PRESENT LECTURE ON BLIZZARD OF ‘77

On Thursday, January 28, the Buffalo Weather Experience Center (BWEC) and Buffalo and Erie County Public Library will present “The Storm of All Storms: Blizzard of ‘77” beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Downtown Central Library. The lecture will feature Tom Niziol, Meterologist-in-Charge for the National Weather Service Buffalo and Erno Rossi, bestselling author of “White Death.”

“Since our team of volunteers got together two years ago to talk about the BWEC vision, we were firm that science would always come first,” said Craig W. Turner, BWEC president. “While we continue to lay the groundwork for a weather science and entertainment center on Buffalo’s waterfront and build grassroots support, our mission offers us the opportunity to bring the science and enjoyment of weather to our future visitors in events such as this.”

“The Storm of All Storms” lecture will take place on the evening of the 33rd anniversary of the day the Blizzard started. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the BWEC vision, and purchase autographed copies of “White Death.” For further information, visit www.buffaloweathercenter.org.
